How long have you been in business?
We've been in business since 1980.
What is your primary product or service?
We primarily sell mattresses and foundations. However, since many of the products are related, we also carry bed frames, head boards, foot boards, platform beds, Cord-A-Roy Bean Bag Beds, sheets, comforters and much, much more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Many years ago, I worked at a home furnishings store. One day, the owner came to me and said, "We're going to start carrying mattresses and I want you to sell them." I knew absolutely nothing about mattresses at the time, so for the next 3 weeks, I researched mattresses on the internet. I wanted to know the difference between a piece of junk and a quality mattress set. I also wanted to know why some people find certain beds more comfortable than others.
I found the answers to those questions and it has motivated me to "custom fit" each person with the mattress that best suits their needs. For example, I had a customer that came in with Fibromyalgia one day. She explained the symptoms that affected her so I researched it online and found that there are 8 extremely sensitive pressure points on the shoulders and hips. With this information, I was able to guide her to the mattress set that best suited her needs--in this case--relieved the pain and allowed her to sleep at night.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
When opening this business, I asked myself what it is that people want most. It's not the mattress or other products. It's the SERVICE!

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
For now, we just have one location. As for expansion, the building we're in does have additional spaces that are vacant and we seem to be consuming them--one-by-one--adding to our product line.
